Leave & Benefits Specialist
Our Seacoast area client is seeking a creative, detail-oriented problem solver for their Leave & Benefits Specialist role. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience processing a high volume of leaves and would love to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Candidates must also be local. Responsibilities of the Leave & Benefits Specialist

  • Administer employee leaves of absence and accommodation requests
  • File workers’ compensation claims
  • Administer benefits programs
  • Conduct new hire benefit orientations and training programs
  • Maintain clear communication with employees and managers
  • Establish strong relationships with third-party vendors
  • Process transactions in HRIS
  • Create reports
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as required

Qualifications of the Leave & Benefits Specialist

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in benefit and leave administration
  • Experience processing a high volume of leaves on a monthly basis required
  • HRIS system experience required, ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage strict deadlines, and remain flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
