Her 20 years of industry experience includes roles as Recruiter, Sr. Staffing Manager, Branch Manager, and now, Regional Director.

A legal organization in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant on a full-time, direct hire basis! In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our client’s employment law practice. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in MS Office Suite (especially Word), and preferably has experience in employment law.

Responsibilities of the Legal Administrative Assistant

  • Monitor and prioritize emails
  • Answer calls and assist or direct callers
  • Manage calendar and coordinate meetings
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Draft correspondence
  • Create PowerPoint presentations
  • Maintain electronic and paper files
  • Assist other team members
  • Perform other related tasks and projects

Qualifications of the Legal Administrative Assistant

  • Knowledge of general office practices/equipment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Prior experience in employment law preferred
  • Able to multitask
  • A problem solver
  • Solid editing/proofreading skills
  • Team player
