Job Description

Katy joined the seacoast market in 2022 after almost a decade as an assistant coach of women’s basketball for Carnegie Mellon, SNHU, and most recently, UNH. She earned a B.A. in Human Services & Rehabilitation Studies from Assumption College and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from SNHU.
A long-standing and successful Dover, NH organization is looking for a skilled Legal Assistant for their team! In this full-time, direct hire position, you will provide administrative support to several attorneys in our client’s personal injury division. Strong knowledge of court rules and discovery timelines and 3+ years of prior similar experience is required.
Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant – Personal Injury
- Contact insurance claim adjusters and request information
- Request medical records
- Prepare documentation and evidence for trials
- Schedule medical appointments
- Maintain files
- Perform other administrative tasks and projects, as assigned
Qualifications of the Legal Assistant – Personal Injury
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and document management software
- Strong knowledge of court rules
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize in a multitasking environment
- Prior experience with obtaining records from multiple sources
