A well-established legal firm is seeking a Legal Office Assistant to help their Hanover, NH office run smoothly. The ideal candidate has previous administrative or reception experience and polished communication skills. This opportunity includes a great work-life balance with no overtime, and is perfect for someone who prefers a quiet, low-stress office environment!

Responsibilities of the Legal Office Assistant

  • Answer phones and greet visitors
  • Ensure clients are connected with the right team member
  • Distribute mail and screen general email
  • Communicate with vendors
  • Restock office supplies
  • Keep office clean and well organized
  • Handle additional administrative support tasks as required

Qualifications of the Legal Office Assistant

  • Previous administrative support/receptionist experience is a must; legal office experience is a plus but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; preference given to candidates with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree plus two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate the office’s needs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Professional, courteous demeanor
  • Technologically proficient
  • Ability to excel in a team setting

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break. Pay depends on experience. This may lead to a direct hire for the right candidate, so don’t hesitate to apply for this excellent Legal Office Assistant opportunity!
