Machine shop in Rochester/Gonic, NH dedicated to precision engineering is seeking a practiced Machine Operator to join their team. This company is over 60 years old, and services and supplies many different industries with components including ammunition, fiber optics, arrowheads, automotive, connectors, and medical devices. The Machine Operator is vital to the success of the team!
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator role:
- Ensure that machine operation activities follows the company’s standards
- Provide quality checks on machinery on a regular basis
- Operate machines efficiently and as safely as possible
- Keep the machine and work area clean and free from scraps, oil and other debris
- Ensure that all parts are tagged and stored appropriately
Qualifications of the Machine Operator role:
- Mechanical experience a must
- Able to work in a team atmosphere
- Attention to detail and able to meet multiple deadlines
Great Schedule! Day shift is Monday – Thursday 6:00am-4pm with overtime required occasionally. Night shift is Monday-Thursday 7pm-6am with overtime required occasionally. Rate of pay is $14-$17 DOE.
