Machine Operator

Our manufacturing client is looking for a Machine Operator on first shift at their Milford, NH facility. If you have some prior experience, then don’t miss your chance to join the team at a great company with so much employee longevity that even families work together!

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator

• Set up and operate various production machinery
• Read, comprehend, and follow bills of material, work instructions, cable prints, and other documentation to complete tasks
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and programmable issues
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers
• Check work for quality
• Complete required paperwork
• Maintain accurate inventory counts
• Help keep work area clean, safe, and organized
• Perform related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Machine Operator

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6-12 months of experience operating production machinery
• Basic math skills
• Ability to interpret written instructions and prints, use measuring instruments, troubleshoot equipment, and adjust machine settings to the correct part tolerances to thousandths of an inch
• Good visual acuity, manual dexterity, and attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
