Machine Operator & Line Assistant
Be part of a company who is making recycled fabrics that are technically innovative and helping the world to be environmentally sustainable. This Seacoast employer is currently seeking to hire machine operator and line assistants.
This position involves performing a variety of simple routine and automated mechanical and electro-mechanical operations. This position and company offers opportunity for growth into other manufacturing positions.
Essential job functions of Machine Operator & Line Assistant:
- Packaging of products
- Restock of materials
- Open bales
- Set-up machinery
Must have skills for Machine Operator & Line Assistant:
- Ability to understand and interpret written and verbal instructions
- Stand and walk for 12 hour shift
- Frequent pushing and pulling
- Frequent use of upper extremities
This positions offers various schedules currently including:
Days – Saturdays/Sundays/Mondays – 6pm/7pm-6am/7am
Nights- Saturday/Sundays/Mondays – 6am/7am-6pm/7pm
Weekdays – some weekday options available as well
The starting pay is $15/hour plus weekend differential of $1.50/hour and opportunity for salary growth with certifications offered.
