Machine Operator

A machine shop in Rochester, NH who is dedicated to precision engineering is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team. This company is over 60 years old and services many different industries including ammunition, fiber optics, arrowheads, automotive, connectors, and medical devices.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

  • Quality checks on machines and products
  • All necessary documentation
  • Wipe any visible chips, oil or hand marks off equipment
  • Keep machine pans free of grime and excess oil
  • Ensure no oil spills from machines

Qualifications of the position:

  • Able to stand for a full shift and lift 25bs
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Able to use micrometers

Experience Needed:

  • At least two years of experience preferred

This is a full time, first shift position working Monday through Thursday; 6:30 am-5:00 pm with some mandatory hours on occasion on Fridays and Saturdays if needed.  The starting pay for this position is $14-$16/hour.
