Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd Shift

Our Manchester, NH client is seeking a 3rd Shift Preventative Maintenance Mechanic. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing, stable company that provides great benefits upon hire.

The Preventative Maintenance Mechanic will provide support and assistance in mechanical repairs, as well as be responsible for implementing preventative measures to ensure operation of production equipment/machinery.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:

  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to the PM schedule
  • Provide maintenance on mechanical systems and some electrical systems
  • Update, correct, and/or make recommendations to preventative maintenance procedures
  • Enter information into the work order management system daily
  • Document and communicate action, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Use measuring and testing instruments needs
  • Maintain equipment and supply inventories
  • Practice 5S principles, procedures, and guidelines, JIT, and process improvement

Qualifications of the Extrusion Machine Operator:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, including hands-on experience working with mechanical equipment
  • Wire and cable experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills- both verbal and written

This position works 11 PM – 7 AM, Monday- Saturday morning.
