Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor

Successful food processing company in Portsmouth, NH  is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor to join their team. In this position you will report to the Assistant Maintenance Manager, supervising and directing the activities of the maintenance mechanics who service and repair the food processing and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor:

  • Manage, coach, train, and schedule maintenance staff
  • Maintain monthly budget and oversee daily parts requisition and quarterly cycle counts
  • Oversee routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs on food processing and packaging equipment
  • Ensure that plant production demands are being met

Requirements of the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor:

  • Demonstrated electrical and mechanical skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • 5 to 7 years in an industrial environment in a mechanical or related position
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

The compensation for this position is DOE. This is a 2nd shift position that works from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
