Maintenance Technician

A rubber manufacturer is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep the equipment running smoothly at their Laconia, NH facility. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity in a friendly, team-based environment.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

• Maintain equipment
• Communicate with production to minimize downtime
• Input completed work orders in CMMS software
• Collaborate with maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering personnel to analyze and resolve issues
• Keep records on preventative maintenance and inventory
• Contribute ideas that improve equipment performance and quality of final product
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good shop math skills
• Familiar with PLC programs
• Good working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, HVAC, PLCs, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and diagrams, and use various types of adjustable measuring instruments
• Strong focus and good decision-making skills
• Ability to lift, pull, or push material over 60 lbs.
