Manual Lathe Machinist

The largest hydraulic sales and service facility in New England is hiring a Manual Lathe Machinist in Merrimack, NH! This family-owned business has operated for over 40 years and continues to grow. If you have experience with single point threading, this is an excellent direct-hire, permanent opportunity with great benefits!

Responsibilities of the Manual Lathe Machinist

  • Run manual engine lathes and milling machines to fabricate hydraulic component parts
  • Operate machines to perform custom jobs; each job will be different
  • ID/OD single point threading, turning, grooving, and boring on manual engine lathes
  • Perform Milling and Bridgeport work as needed

Qualifications of the Manual Lathe Machinist

  • Must have manual machinist experience
  • Must have single point threading experience
  • Ability to follow instructions closely and a high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

This first-shift position works Monday through Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm. Pay ranges from $19-25/hour depending on experience.
