Manual Lathe Machinist

The largest hydraulic sales and service facility in New England is hiring a Manual Lathe Machinist in Merrimack, NH. This family-owned business has operated for 45 years and continues to grow. Responsibilities of the Manual Lathe Machinist

• Run manual engine lathes and milling machines to fabricate hydraulic component parts
• Operate machines to perform custom jobs; each job will be different
• Perform ID/OD single point threading, turning, grooving, and boring on manual engine lathes
• Perform milling and Bridgeport work as needed

Qualifications of the Manual Lathe Machinist

• Must have manual machinist experience
• Must have single point threading experience
• Ability to follow instructions closely and a high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

This first-shift position works Monday through Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm. Pay ranges from $25-$30/hour depending on experience.
