Manufacturing Customer Service Representative

A highly respected company that specializes in enabling better medical diagnostics is seeking to hire a talented Manufacturing Customer Service Representative to join their customer service department.  This position is primarily responsible to receive and resolve incoming customer issues which include distributors, direct customers, sales and internal departments.  This position requires a high level of customer service, ability to handle and work under pressure as well as prioritize and organize steps to find resolutions.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Customer Service Representative include:

  • Respond to incoming customer communication, following through to completion of resolution.
  • Listen to customer concerns and effectively diffuse dissatisfaction.
  • Gather information and investigate issues by communicating with a variety of internal and external sources including AP Department, supervisors, sales, supplies, business and channel partners and/or freight carriers.
  • Document activity and actions that are taken.

Requirements of the Manufacturing Customer Service Representative:

  • 2+ years of similar experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office, MS Outlook, mainframe and shipping systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and make decisions.

This is a long term (6+ months)  project position working Monday through Friday; 8 am-5 pm. If current business needs exist, there is an opportunity that this could turn into a permanent role.  Starting pay is $15-$18/hour.
