An advanced electronics company is seeking an experienced individual for their Manufacturing Engineer III role. You’ll interact with many facets of the organization, so a positive outlook and the ability to autonomously see projects through to completion are keys to success in this excellent direct-hire opportunity!

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer III

  • Design and develop manufacturing procedures, tooling, and fixtures to meet customer demand while also promoting product quality, process efficiency, and operator safety with documentation
  • Optimize production using engineering methods, process improvements via Six Sigma and Lean methods, troubleshooting equipment, and addressing operator inquiries
  • Assist in identifying equipment needs and opportunities for automation on the production floor, and in evaluating internal and external sources for such equipment
  • Work with R&D, Business Development, Quality, and Manufacturing departments during the concept, prototyping, and release of new products

Qualifications of the Manufacturing Engineer III

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • 5+ years of engineering experience required
  • Experience with aluminum casting process, forging, or similar
  • Experience with design for manufacturing, 3D/parametric CAD modeling, material analysis methods
  • Experience with RF design and manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with PLC equipment, ladder logic, and industrial robotics
  • High level of mechanical aptitude, theory, and proficiency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Consistent attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated team player who can work well independently
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fluid business environment
  • Green Belt Six Sigma preferred
