Manufacturing Engineer/Process Engineer

A global manufacturer is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer/Process Engineer in Amesbury, MA. You’ll join a professional yet fun team, working collaboratively toward the same goals. Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer/Process Engineer

• Assist scheduling department with estimating production times and staffing requirements
• Participate in Kaizen projects that focus on improving processing time, quality, and cost
• Identify opportunities to build efficiency in manufacturing processes
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Manufacturing Engineer/Process Engineer

• BS Engineering discipline plus 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of large equipment manufacturing including sheet metal, piping, assembly, and HVAC is desired
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP
• Awareness of lean and six sigma methodologies preferred
• Capable of working in a team environment and managing multiple projects concurrently
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
