Manufacturing Lab Technician

Our client is now hiring a Manufacturing Lab Technician in Billerica, MA. Previous lab experience is not required, but manufacturing experience is ideal for this full-time, first-shift role. The company is open to candidates with food safety, quality control, or clean room experience, so don’t hesitate to apply!

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Lab Technician

• Test, review, and approve filling procedures for packaged materials
• Operate/oversee a range of manual and automated machinery
• Inspect, test, and calibrate all packaging equipment and packaged goods for quality and to ensure proper operation
• Troubleshoot and perform required maintenance on machinery
• Review and update standard operating procedures for lab test instruments
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Manufacturing Lab Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous lab experience is a plus
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work well independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math and computer skills
• Reliable and willing to learn
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally

Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with some potential flexibility for start time. Pay starts at $19+/hour depending on experience. Apply today to join this established company as a Manufacturing Lab Technician!
