Material Handler/Shop Helper 

If you’re mechanically inclined and comfortable in a fast-paced machine shop, then don’t miss this Material Handler/Shop Helper role! You’ll assist with a variety of warehouse and material handling tasks at this family-owned company’s facility in Merrimack, NH. This is a great first shift, direct hire opportunity in a very casual work environment.

Responsibilities of the Material Handler/Shop Helper

• Test hydraulic cylinders
• Operate a forklift
• Cut material on band saw
• Spray paint materials
• Load and unload trucks
• Follow all safety procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Material Handler/Shop Helper

• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with hand tools
• Experience with forklifts and/or other heavy equipment
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced shop environment
• Not afraid to get dirty
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time

Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm with some flexibility and potential for overtime. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $20-$22/hour, but our client is willing to pay up to $24/hour for the right candidate. Apply today for this Material Handler/Shop Helper role!
