Responsibilities of the Materials Planning Manager

  • Develop daily production schedule
  • Track production and take appropriate action to meet weekly targets
  • Ensure orders are complete through manufacturing for accuracy of production and inventory records
  • Be the go-to person for communicating late orders
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to make on-time shipments
  • Manage good information flow with other departments

Qualifications of the Materials Planning Manager

  • BS degree or proven prior supply chain work experience
  • Strong SAP and MS Office Suite experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple scheduling priorities and meet short delivery times
  • Lean Six Sigma skills
  • Team player who can identify and resolve problems
