Mechanical Engineering Manager

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Manager! In this role, you would be responsible for configuration management, helping to ensure that the company meets client expectations. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineering Manager

  • Review and confirm customer ordering specifications and requirements
  • Release completed design definition/drawing package to ERP
  • ECN process for all internal, customer, or supplier-driven changes
  • MRB support
  • Group design standards and processes
  • Group work product quality, including drawing checking
  • Supervise Documentation Specialist and possibly Mechanical Designers
  • Select projects as business needs require
  • Ensure final product meets client standards

Qualifications of the Mechanical Engineering Manager

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • RF product experience (ex. waveguide, coaxial transmission) preferred
  • SolidWorks CAD/PDM
  • ERP (VISUAL knowledge is a plus)
  • Electro-mechanical assembly design experience
  • Drawing standards
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong writing and documentation skills
  • Prior supervisory experience
