Mechanical Parts Assembler

Do you have an interest in motorsports? Come work as a Mechanical Parts Assembler with a leader in the aftermarket motorsport parts industry! In this role, you would be responsible for assembling powersports starting and charging components. This is a long-term job opportunity!

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Parts Assembler

  • Assemble raw materials required to complete the assigned task
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work orders
  • Review work activities with the production supervisor as required
  • Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments such as calipers and other measuring devices
  • Inspect all raw materials prior to assembly
  • Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment
  • Assemble electrical components and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly castings
  • Test product to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Test functional performance

Qualifications of the Mechanical Parts Assembler

  • Must be able to use basic hand tools including but not limited to wire cutter, wire stripper, crimping tool, and handheld power drills
  • Special consideration will go to a candidate who can operate an electronic multi-meter, lathe, and a vertical mill
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with soldering or willingness to learn is a must!

The shift for this Mechanical Parts Assembler position is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Pay starts at $15/hour depending on experience, with an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, 401K and more!
