Medical Claims Administrator

A well-established and innovative Physical Therapy office on the Seacoast is looking for a Medical claims analyst. The ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Ability to identify and analyze open claims.
  • Ensure payments/denials are processed in accordance with contracts and authorizations
  • Analyze claims and reports for discrepancies, duplicate billing/payments, and coding errors
  • Verify information related to data entry, submitted claims, authorizations and workflow processes.
  • Resubmitting and/or appealing claims timely
  • Maintain records, files, and documentation

Qualifications for Medical Claims Administrator:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA laws
  • A team-player mentality and the ability to thrive in a busy office setting
  • Prior experience in medical billing and dealing with claims and denials

This position works 30 hours within a Monday thru Friday schedule and offers some flexibility within the hours of 8am-5pm with some responsibilities to open and close the office.
