A premier Seacoast employer is now hiring for their Medical Equipment Technical Support role. You’ll mostly provide product support over the phone, so the ability to communicate technical information in a customer-friendly way is a must. Responsibilities of the Medical Equipment Technical Support

  • Provide support to customers and field sales representatives globally
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, research, and answer technical questions over the phone
  • Manage problem resolution, update case documentation, and communicate updates to management, technical resources, and customers
  • Collaborate with team to solve complex technical issues
  • Develop and update work instructions in quality system
  • Deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction and customer relations
  • Help mentor/train others
  • Participate in projects and other tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Medical Equipment Technical Support

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or related course work/experience (1-3 years) in medical device industry preferred
  • Related experience, such as mechanical or electronical tech, field service tech, biomedical tech, maintenance repair, or similar occupation preferred
  • Previous experience providing technical support over the phone is preferred
  • Proven ability to control difficult job situations while providing a high standard of customer care
  • Mechanically inclined with knowledge of process engineering and quality control preferred
  • Familiarity with machine and electrical parts, components, and assembly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to learn and comprehend written technical information and interpret federal regulations
  • Ability to work well cross functionally with all levels of customers and internal departments
  • Computer skills including ERP systems and MS Office Suite
