Medical Office Coordinator

Our client’s oncology department is busy and needs extra help from a Medical Office Coordinator! This is an interim position on the Seacoast, expected to last at least 3-4 months (but could be longer). You must be detail-oriented, sensitive to handling confidential information, and comfortable working in an oncology department.

Responsibilities of the Medical Office Coordinator

  • Schedule appointments
  • Request medical documents and charts
  • Greet patients and check them in and out
  • Perform accurate data entry
  • Answer the phone and take messages
  • Maintain confidentiality

Qualifications of the Medical Office Coordinator

  • 2+ years of recent administrative/CSR or reception experience
  • Good phone communication skills
  • Basic MS Office skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Strong desire to provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of medical office terminology or experience a plus

Hours for this interim Medical Office Coordinator position are Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch.
