Molding Process Engineer

An aerosol valve manufacturer is seeking a Molding Process Engineer to join the team at their facility in Manchester, NH. You’ll help develop processes that optimize the manufacture of molding machine components. This is a direct-hire opportunity with great benefits at a growing, global company!

Responsibilities of the Molding Process Engineer

• Develop processes to obtain higher quality and greater output
• Qualify all new molds and machines
• Help develop training methods and documentation
• Work with production control in assigning mold/machine combinations
• Develop process windows and approve process changes
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve problems in a timely manner

Qualifications of the Molding Process Engineer

• Plastics Engineering degree with at least 4-6 years of plastic processing or equivalent experience in a molding operation
• Knowledge of mechanical and process aspects of molding technology
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Good computer and math (algebra) skills
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Solid interpersonal and presentation skills
