A successful physical therapy office is seeking an Office Manager to support its Hanover, NH and White River Junction, VT locations. The ideal candidate is a positive, proactive leader with medical office experience who can work hands on to motivate the front office staff. Responsibilities of the Office Manager
- Lead small team of front office employees with positivity to deliver exceptional customer service
- Communicate with clinical staff/providers
- Assist patients in person and over the phone
- Help with insurance and billing procedures
- Review employee performance
- Maintain and update front office policy and procedure manual as needed
- Manage inventory and order supplies
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications of the Office Manager
- Previous experience in a medical office
- Prior physical therapy experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical and health insurance terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead in a busy outpatient setting
- Computer skills including medical scheduling, billing, and Google Workspace products
