Responsibilities of the Optical Technician I

• Help prepare and handle delicate optical components
• Execute fine grinding and polishing operations using various equipment and hand tools
• Inspect work for quality and measure for conformance to specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Optical Technician I

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
• Comfort working with your hands and handling precision equipment
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed instructions
• Technical training or hands-on experience in manufacturing is a plus
• Basic understanding of optical principles or manufacturing processes is helpful but not required

Openings are available working Monday through Friday from 3:00pm-11:30pm or 11:00pm-7:30am. We look forward to hearing from you!
