Overnight Maintenance Mechanic

Our client is seeking a self-motivated, experienced Overnight Maintenance Mechanic to keep their production facility running smoothly. This full-time, direct-hire role includes a sign-on and retention bonus of $1,250!

Responsibilities of the Overnight Maintenance Mechanic

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on production, facility, and utility equipment to ensure efficient operation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment and repair/replace components as needed (e.g., gear boxes, bearings, chains, belts, pulleys, AC and DC drives, temperature controls, PLCs, 3-phase motors, electrical circuits, etc.)
• Read and interpret electrical, building, machine, and flow diagram prints to complete tasks
• Maintain records
• Follow all safety rules and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Overnight Maintenance Mechanic

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Electrical controls experience
• Basic plumbing skills including knowledge of fittings and thread types
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of/experience with the following preferred: MIG welding, stick welding, drilling and tapping threaded holes
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 8:00pm-4:00am. Training will take place during first shift hours. Pay is $27/hour during training and will increase to $29/hour. Apply today for this Overnight Maintenance Mechanic opportunity!
