Paint Booth Operator – 3rd shift

A well-known high-tech manufacturing company located in Rochester, NH is seeking to add a Paint Booth Operator for 3rd shift to their team.  This position is responsible for preparing products to be painted.  As well as combining various ingredients and applying paint coatings based on an established manual process.

Responsibilities of the Paint Booth Operator:

  • Perform the complete operation of painting parts using a handheld paint sprayer within a painting booth
  • Measure and mix various painting-related ingredients
  • Cover portions of parts to be painted with tape and paper (masking)
  • Perform rework as required to include: touch-up, sanding, cleaning, re-masking and repainting
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of all equipment

Qualifications for the position:

  • Prior experience with painting using handheld painting equipment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to recognize potential problems
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic to intermediate level computer skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

This is a 3rd shift position working Monday through Friday, 11:15 pm-7:15 am including a 30- minute paid lunch break. Starting pay is $17.05/hour which includes hourly rate plus a shift differential.
