Our fast-growing client needs a skilled Patient Receivables Coordinator to lead the small team at their new office in Portsmouth, NH! The ideal candidate has previous experience with collections, at least three years of healthcare industry experience, and the ability to coach and assist a high-performing team of account specialists. Responsibilities of the Patient Receivables Coordinator

  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate team
  • Coordinate activities related to collection of past due accounts
  • Direct the adjustment, extended payment agreements, and implementation and settlement of accounts
  • Serve as liaison between organization and outside collection agencies
  • Respond to attorney’s requests for medical records and bills
  • Evaluate performance and productivity in relation to established goals
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, ethical, and professional standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional related tasks and special projects as required

Qualifications of the Patient Receivables Coordinator

  • 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, including 2 years of lead/supervisory experience with self-pay receivables
  • Understanding of medical terminology and protocols
  • Collections agency experience
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Goal-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and evaluation skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

The Patient Receivables Coordinator works Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. Salary depends on experience, from $60,000-$70,000/year. We look forward to hearing from you!
