Payroll & A/P Coordinator
Our Concord, NH client is seeking an interim Payroll & A/P Coordinator! This position is responsible for accurately processing accounts payable and bi-weekly payroll and all associated reports according to GAAP and all federal/state laws. The hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, and while the role is expected to last around 2 months, it has the potential to be long-term for the right fit.
Responsibilities of the Payroll & A/P Coordinator
- Review/correct all attendance activity with supervisors
- Complete all applicable changes in the HR/Payroll system(s)
- Prepare bi-weekly payroll file, verify and process
- Complete A/P check requests for all employee reimbursements
- Assist in benefit administration/reporting with HR
- Perform reporting and journal entries as assigned related to payroll and A/P
- Assist with any reporting that may be requested by supervisors or HR
- Perform annual & quarterly procedures
- Process/voucher supplier invoices
- Perform weekly check runs, including physical & electronic payments
- Maintain A/P files
- Maintain and create new suppliers (w9’s etc.)
- Other duties as required
Qualifications of the Payroll & A/P Coordinator
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience is preferred
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of all Microsoft Office and database programs
- HRIS and payroll system experience is required
