Her 20 years of industry experience includes roles as Recruiter, Sr. Staffing Manager, Branch Manager, and now, Regional Director.

This Epping, NH organization is growing and needs the help of a full-time Payroll/Accounting Specialist! In this direct hire role, you will be responsible for processing payroll in a timely manner and performing a variety of accounting tasks. Our client has a business casual culture and encourages employee growth.

Responsibilities of the Payroll/Accounting Specialist

  • Process payroll in a timely fashion on a weekly basis
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Perform month-end and year-end closings
  • Prepare reports on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Cross-train to assist in other accounting functions
  • Perform other related tasks and projects, as required

Qualifications of the Payroll/Accounting Specialist

  • 2+ years of payroll/accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and QuickBooks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Team player
