Payroll Specialist

If you are experienced in multi-state payroll and have at least five years of prior experience, consider this Payroll Specialist opportunity in Concord, NH! Our client needs someone to manage all aspects of payroll while keeping an eye on improving efficiency. This is a direct hire role requiring a high degree of confidentiality.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist

• Prepare and process multi-state payroll on a weekly and biweekly basis
• Maintain up-to-date employee information
• Resolve any issues with payroll discrepancies
• Provide reports
• Manage payroll taxes
• Identify areas of improvement within the payroll process
• Perform other related tasks and projects, as required

Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least five years of payroll and tax required in a multi-state environment
• Prior experience in manufacturing preferred
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS software
• A team player who is also a problem solver
