Payroll & Benefits Coordinator

A caring, community-based hospitality company that has been family-owned and operated for nearly half a century is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator. This part-time role that works 24-30 hours per week is perfect for someone skilled in supporting and overseeing employee health and welfare benefits, worker’s compensation programs, and leaves of absence.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the Payroll & Benefits Coordinator:

  • Work with benefit carriers and brokers to ensure proper administration of benefits contracts, correct payment of premiums, and resolve any service delivery issues
  • Confidentially oversee the worker’s compensation program’s administration, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Oversee administration of COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA policies and ensure compliance with all requirements.
  • Provide back-up to the payroll department.

A qualified Payroll & Benefits Coordinator will have:

  • Strong knowledge of benefits and laws in NH and ME
  • Payroll experience
  • General HR experience
  • Paycor payroll experience is a plus
