Payroll & Benefits Specialist

We are seeking qualified candidates for a direct hire Payroll & Benefits Specialist opportunity in Concord, NH! This full-time position provides support to the human resources department by assisting with a variety of administrative tasks related to payroll and benefits. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of experience in an HR department to continue to grow and learn!

Responsibilities of the Payroll & Benefits Specialist

  • Ensure employee records are up to date
  • Record any payroll-related information, such as unemployment, insurance, garnishments, etc.
  • Assist employees with questions regarding benefits
  • Track LOAs and COBRA
  • Run payroll and answer payroll-related questions
  • Help onboard new employees
  • Other related HR tasks

Qualifications of the Payroll & Benefits Specialist

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in an HR department
  • ADP experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Good communication skills
