Planner

Responsibilities of the Planner

• Interpret MRP to generate and maintain accurate production schedules
• Report on shop floor activities and performance to schedule
• Coordinate emergency orders through production areas
• Collaborate with component shop to close shop orders in a timely manner and to ensure accuracy of order data
• Work with production and planning teams to resolve scheduling and performance issues
• Outsource components to approved suppliers as needed, with consideration to internal capacity, load, and capabilities
• Effectively communicate changes in schedules
• Foster a safe working environment
• Perform other related tasks as required

Qualifications of the Planner

• 3-5 years production control and planning/scheduling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 5-7 years manufacturing experience minimum; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel
• Basic report writing or SQL knowledge a plus
• Willing to pursue APICS CPIM Certification
• Team player with strong communication skills

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Salary is commensurate with experience. We look forward to hearing from you about this Planner role!
