Plastic Components Assembler

Do you want Fridays off every week? A Pelham, NH company is hiring first shift Plastic Components Assemblers at their newly expanded facility! You’ll work Monday through Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm. This is a great full-time, long-term opportunity!

Responsibilities of the Plastic Components Assembler

  • Perform intricate assembly of plastic medical components in accordance with written and verbal work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and drawings/blueprints
  • Inspect components for defects
  • Use fixtures and dies to modify plastic components
  • Perform various tasks in preparation of assembly, such as cutting tubing to specified length and cleaning components
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including eye coring machine, hot blocks, RF machine, tip grinder, and pad printer
  • Use measurement devices such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and scales
  • Enter data into ERP system
  • Complete manufacturing documentation as required
  • Ensure work station meets company standards for cleanliness, safety, and line clearance
  • Maintain compliance with quality management system procedures and guidelines
  • Report any issues to Group Leader or Supervisor
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Plastic Components Assembler

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 1+ years of experience assembling small parts
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Ability to read or learn to read drawings/blueprints
  • Strong fine motor skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use a microscope, magnified ring light, and measurement devices (vernier calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, etc.)
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 20 lbs.
