Plastics Manufacturing Specialist

Both first and second shift hours are available for this full-time, long-term role!

Responsibilities of the Plastics Manufacturing Specialist

• Operate injection molding machines to manufacture plastic components
• Follow written and verbal work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and drawings/blueprints to complete tasks
• Inspect components for defects
• Use hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure product meets quality standards and customer specifications
• Complete manufacturing documentation and enter data into ERP system
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Plastics Manufacturing Specialist

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of related experience operating molding equipment
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read or learn to read drawings/blueprints
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 20 lbs.

First shift works Monday through Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm, and second shift works 4:15pm-2:45am. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $15-$17/hour plus a 7% shift differential for second shift. Apply today to join this talented, diverse team as a Plastics Manufacturing Specialist!
