Process Technician

Our client is seeking someone with plastic injection molding experience to join their team as a Process Technician. You’ll support and maintain processes, machinery, and systems at their Concord, NH facility to ensure efficient production of their high-quality parts. This is a direct-hire opportunity at a family-owned, reputable employer!

Responsibilities of the Process Technician

• Perform machine startup, shutdown, and any necessary processing changes to ensure machines operate at proper efficiency and product is in conformance
• Provide technical support for new tooling qualifications and process capability studies
• Lead molding improvements to include cycle time efficiencies, cavitation, scrap reduction, and establishment of optimal processing parameters
• Repair molds and equipment, create fixtures, and fabricate automation equipment when appropriate
• Install, implement, and monitor all auxiliary equipment, notifying maintenance department of any issues
• Oversee production floor, implement ideas for increased efficiency, and help train personnel as needed
• Maintain process information, create troubleshooting guides, and keep accurate records
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Process Technician

• 5+ years of experience in plastic injection molding processing
• Demonstrated knowledge of injection molds, injection molding machines, injection molding processes, and mold setups
• Experience processing and troubleshooting a wide array of thermoplastic resins and complex molds
• Ability to use automation systems and basic hand tools
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to work overtime as required
