Production Operator Lead

Company specializing in creating environmental sustainable ingredients is currently seeking two Production Operator Leads for their growing company. Positions are open on both the day shift and the overnight shift, working 12 hours shifts, 3 days/week.

Responsibilities of the Production Operator Lead include:

  • Operate production equipment.
  • Maintain and repair production equipment.
  • Prepare product for shipping according to customer purchase orders.
  • Receive shipments of raw materials and confirm materials meet specifications for production.
  • Perform trial production projects as directed.
  • Maintain documentation related to production.
  • Collect, maintain and report production and quality metrics.

Requirements for the Production Operator Lead:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in manufacturing.
  • Seeking a growing career in manufacturing.
  • Collaborative and likeable team player, always looking to share and advance best practices.
  • Experience with structured problem solving techniques is desired.
  • Ability to manage through communication in a matrixed environment.
  • Must be capable of working in a fast paced work environment.

Candidates should be dependable and able to work independently. There are two positions currently open.  Day shift is 3 days per week working 7am-7pm and night shift is 3 days per week working 7pm-7am and does offer shift differential pay to a starting hourly rate of $16-$18/hour.
