Production Supervisor

Our client is looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee the team at their Dover, NH facility. Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor

• Organize and assign production tasks
• Review changes to daily demands and adjust production as needed
• Inspect finished product per specifications
• Ensure production department meets quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with Production Manager and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and avoid shipment delays
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Provide feedback to Production Manager for quarterly evaluations
• Generate reports
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operated in a safe manner
• Oversee inventory management and cycle counts
• Assist with production tasks as needed

Qualifications of the Production Supervisor

• Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching to direct reports
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
• Positive demeanor and strong communication skills
• Ability to read and understand work instructions from job tickets
• Familiarity with Lean principles is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
