Production Technician

A global manufacturer of specialty chemicals is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Production Technician to join their team! Located in Merrimack, NH, this innovative company focuses on safety and integrity in all of its operations, yet offers a relaxed and friendly work environment.

Responsibilities of the Production Technician

• Conduct furnace operation to produce carbon nanotube sheet materials or yarn
• Visually inspect materials and mechanical/fuel systems
• Adjust furnace and/or clean when necessary
• Promptly address production or quality concerns
• Label and store finished product
• Keep careful records and prepare samples for quality control
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety regulations
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Production Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in detail-oriented manufacturing preferred, with furnaces or in QA a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Good listening and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Basic math and computer skills
• Mechanical aptitude preferable

The Production Technician is a full-time, first-shift position. Pay starts at $20-$22/hour with flexibility up to $26/hour for candidates with furnace experience. Apply today!
