Project Manager, Commissioning

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Project Manager to join the team on a full-time, hybrid basis. You will manage large projects in a fluid environment from the design stage to manufacture, start-up, and commissioning. Responsibilities of the Project Manager, Commissioning

• Serve as the primary contact between customer and internal stakeholders
• Create and execute project work plans and revise (as appropriate) to changing needs and requirements
• Work collaboratively to define project scope, cost estimates, goals, and deliverables
• Effectively communicate relevant project information to management
• Develop equipment/project scope definition and “turnover” documentation to engineering, production, and service for manufacturing and servicing the equipment
• Lead effective change order management
• Follow through and review equipment design and fabrication outcomes to ensure equipment cost and profitability are met

Qualifications of the Project Manager, Commissioning

• PMP certification and/or BS in Project Management or Engineering-related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in management of multi-million-dollar manufacturing projects; experience specific to HVAC equipment and installation preferred
• Adaptable, malleable, and able to manage projects with fluidity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult/sensitive information tactfully
