Quality Control Inspector

Wilton, NH manufacturer is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to uphold it’s dedication to provide it’s clients with a wide variety of high quality, reliable sealing systems.

The Quality Control Inspector will inspect all incoming parts and materials used in the manufacturing process. This role is vital to catching part and material defects early in the process to avoid manufacturing issues further down the production line.

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector:

  • Inspect incoming materials to confirm that meet product specifications.
  • Measure incoming materials using micrometers, calipers, drop-gauges, pin gauges, optical comparators, test blocks, and functional gauges. Use tweezers to examine very small parts.
  • Use a microscope to inspect incoming materials for inclusions, burrs and another defects.
  • Handle all related inspection documentation.

Qualifications of the Quality Control Inspector:

  • At least 2 years’ inspection experience, including inspection of small machines and/or plated parts.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to accurately use all measuring tools mentioned above, as well as test rigs and electronic devices testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend specifications, inspection instructions, and mechanical drawings. Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Strong math, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Team player who is also able to self motivate.

This is a full time, long term opportunity working Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
