Quality Control Manager

A small machining company in Dover, NH is looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager. This is a direct-hire opportunity to work for a high-tech company whose employees enjoy great longevity!

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Manager

  • Perform all aspects of quality control: First Article, In-Process and Final Inspection and Documentation
  • Assure all manufactured parts adhere to customer requirements and procedures
  • Work closely with shop personnel
  • Be involved with customer audits and vendor audits
  • Issue Corrective Action Reports
  • Communicate with customers’ quality control departments
  • Monitor QC equipment to ensure proper operation and calibration
  • Coordinate and complete calibration of all test equipment and fixtures

Qualifications of the Quality Control Manager

  • 2+ years of experience as quality control inspector
  • Experience in a machine shop
  • Proficient in computer applications: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Able to read and understand drawings/parts specifications
  • Working knowledge of hand-held measuring equipment
  • Full understanding of GDT
  • Able to operate and program OGP Vision System or ability to learn (CMM)
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 standards

This Quality Control Manager role works Monday through Thursday, averaging 40-44 hours per week. Annual salary ranges from $62,000-$85,000 depending on experience.
