A leading manufacturer of wire and cable assemblies is looking for a skilled Quality Control Manager. You’ll oversee the Quality Management System and manage all Quality department personnel at this company’s facility in Hudson, NH facility. This is an excellent direct hire role at an established employer that takes care of its people!

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Manager

  • Oversee Quality Management System, ensuring compliance to the quality manual and AS9100
  • Develop and maintain an effective organization through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination, and review of all assigned QC and QA personnel
  • Create, develop, and maintain incoming, in-process, and final inspection criteria needed to demonstrate compliance to customer requirements
  • Review sales orders and proposed production processes for quality conformance
  • Collect and report on inspection results, track significant deviations from quality standards, and recommend corrective/preventive actions
  • Participate in new product development and production readiness reviews
  • Visit suppliers and customers to review and disposition quality concerns and issues
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Maintain and oversee calibration of all measuring equipment
  • Coordinate, prepare for, and conduct internal audits in support of AS9100:D
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Quality Control Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical discipline, or extensive industry training preferred (minimum Associate’s degree)
  • Minimum of 10 years Quality Engineering and Management experience required
  • ISO 9001:2008 Auditing experience
  • Knowledge of statistical process control, design of experiments, and root cause/failure analysis methods
  • Computer proficiency including Windows Office
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills
  • Professionalism and dedication to customer service
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
