A custom plastic injection molding company in Merrimack, NH is looking for experienced Quality Inspectors on all shifts. In this role you will be responsible for inspecting materials before, during, and after the molding process to ensure customers receive high-quality products.
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector
- Perform accurate dimensional and visual inspections of products
- Collect samples
- Document results
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and final product
- Evaluate products to confirm they meet specification requirements
- Assist with training activities for new employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Quality Inspector
- Prior quality inspector experience required
- Must be able to read and understand drawings, and use equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, microscopes, etc.
- Ability to determine tolerances and specifications from printed documents
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of Optical Comparator and CMM
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally
- Clean room, ISO, FDA experience a plus
Current Openings
- 1st shift: Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:15pm
- 2nd shift: Monday through Friday from 3:00pm-11:15pm
- 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday from 11:00pm-7:15am
Pay is based on experience, ranging from $18-$20/hour base pay plus a 5% differential for 2nd shift and 10% differential for 3rd shift. This may lead to a direct hire in a friendly work environment for the right candidate, so don’t hesitate to apply for this Quality Inspector opportunity!
