Quality Manager

A rubber manufacturer is seeking a Quality Manager for their Laconia, NH facility. You’ll coordinate and implement their quality systems while serving as a liaison among suppliers, customers, and product groups to ensure customer satisfaction. This direct-hire role offers comprehensive benefits and a friendly, team-based environment.

Responsibilities of the Quality Manager

• Establish and develop quality specifications and standards, inspection and sampling techniques to maintain acceptable product quality
• Address customer’s quality issues and coordinate corrective action responses
• Oversee in-process and final inspection
• Assess supplier capabilities and manage their performance
• Supervise, train, evaluate, and manage schedule for inspection and quality assurance personnel
• Manage continuous improvement activities
• Perform related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Quality Manager

• Minimum Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; B.S. preferred
• 5 years of manufacturing quality and supervisory experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Good aptitude for root cause analysis and effective corrective action implementation
• Computer proficiency including MS Office
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
