Quality Technician

A specialized manufacturing company is looking for a second shift Quality Technician in Dover, NH. You’ll work in a collaborative environment as you inspect and test products through various stages of manufacturing. Responsibilities of the Quality Technician

  • Perform and record in-process quality inspections and process checks on jobs running in manufacturing
  • Perform final inspection and release of products for shipment
  • Enter customer-required electronic data prior to shipments
  • Participate in external audits (ISO, customer, etc.) as requested by quality team leader
  • Perform internal audits as assigned per the annual internal audit schedule
  • Perform raw material inspections
  • Participate in team corrective action and problem-solving sessions as necessary to support customer quality requirements
  • Review company quality systems and procedures, provide feedback, and make improvements as needed
  • Provide training support/instruction for team members
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Quality Technician

  • At least 5 years of QA/QC experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of the manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in an efficient manner in order to meet deadlines
  • Solid math skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows computer user interface and popular business applications (ERP Software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to visually inspect parts and distinguish between conforming and nonconforming parts
  • Ability to perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk throughout your shift

Hours for this Quality Technician position are Monday through Thursday, 2:00pm-12:30am. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $17-$20/hour. Apply today!
