A Manchester, NH technology company is seeking an RF/Microwave Design Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with a solid background in passive RF components, such as coaxial attenuators and terminations, power dividers and couplers, to cover a range of military, commercial, and satellite applications. This is an excellent full-time role in a friendly working environment.

Responsibilities of the RF/Microwave Design Engineer

  • Develop products that exceed customer expectations
  • Collaborate with team members to transfer product designs into drawings and procedures for successful builds, and to optimize test and tuning
  • Use tools such as CST, Ansoft Designer, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
  • Create and support documentation for failure analysis, ATPs, QTPs, and manufacturing work instructions
  • Provide guidance for alternate design approaches, modeling/analysis of data, component prototyping, design reviews, and root cause failure analysis
  • Support all facets of new product design introduction and development processes, including experience in space, cryogenic, and high frequency applications

Qualifications of the RF/Microwave Design Engineer

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or 5+ years’ experience in an RF/MW Engineering role
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic modeling tools
  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanical design used to implement RF/MW designs
  • Knowledge of thin film sputtering, photolithography, and etching required
  • RF/Microwave design experience, analysis, circuit/system modeling, and product integration and test (millimeter wave experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Solid math skills and ability to organize data for analysis and reporting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of plating and material science preferred
  • AS9100 QMS experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Hours for this RF/Microwave Design Engineer position are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. We look forward to hearing from you!
